242 Very unique and quality made gold, silver, diamond, black onyx live pigeon medal. The blue stone maybe lapis or just blue glass. This medal can be worn as a pin or hung from a chain. The total weight of this medal is over 34 grams. The medal is circa 1880's/1890's. The medal was won by George Mc G. Morris with a score of 98x105. A very good live bird score. I would guess this was a shoot off score. Probably a tie at 98x100. This is one of the finest live bird medals I have seen. |
